Where are the most affordable Online MBA programs in Business Analytics?

There are a slew of reasons distance learners may choose one online MBA program in Business Analytics over another. With so many well-accredited business schools now offering excellent options, potential students do well to research the different facets of each program to find the best fit. Many students are seeking a business school with holding a stellar business accreditation and a reputation that will stand out on their resumes. Some will be more interested in a smaller class load with fewer courses and perhaps no residencies. These characteristics not only mean a quicker graduation time but will also translate into a more convenient schedule throughout the academic year. Today, prospective business students can also research what recent graduates can achieve in an annual salary, thus showing its future students the likelihood of their return on the investment as well.

While each of these variables are important to consider while deciding what program to enter, one of the most noteworthy components a potential graduate student will use to determine if a program is right for him, is the simple cost of tuition.

One of the most affordable online MBAs with a concentration in Analytics is featured at American Public University in Charles Town, West Virginia. Offered through the School of Business, qualifying students can transfer up to 15 hours of credit into this 39-credit hour program. Full-time students can expect to complete all coursework for this degree in as few as two years while military personnel can apply for a grant which will give them a reduction of $25 per credit. The School of Business, which receives its business accreditation through the ACBSP, has priced this 39-credit hour program at $350 per credit, making the total cost of tuition an accessible $13,650. Some graduate students from the university have reported an average early career salary of $50,900 showing a solid return on their investment.

Another affordable online MBA with a concentration in Business Analytics is offered by the School of Business at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. The business school, which receives its top-notch business accreditation through the AACSB-International, has priced this program at just $305 per credit hour making the total cost of tuition an affordable $12,810. This 42-credit hour program is divided between 30 hours of core courses and 12 hours of Business Analytics-intensive electives, including Information Fundamentals, Quantitative Methods, and the Business Analytics Capstone. Students seeking some practical experience and looking for an opportunity to travel within their field of study will be interested in the school’s Global Experience which allows for short-term residencies in countries like China, France, Italy, and Germany.

The online MBA with the biggest bang for the buck is offered through the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater Oklahoma. With a ranking as the 67th best program in the nation by U.S. News & World Report, the online MBA in Marketing Analytics receives its stellar business accreditation through the AACSB-International. An average early-career salary of $70,700 has been reported by some graduate of the university, reflecting a very positive return on the investment of education. This 42-credit hour program is delivered in a 100% online format and is priced at only $196 per credit hour, making the entire cost of tuition an attractive $8,232.
