Nebraska Methodist College – Omaha, Nebraska
Nebraska Methodist College announced a new online Master of Business Administration in Healthcare that will begin in August. This 42-credit hour program is designed to provide students with the skill set to develop human capital and understand the business perspective of the healthcare sector. Beyond the core MBA courses, students can choose an area of specialization out of the following topics: Healthcare Administration, Quality Improvement & Outcomes Management, or Education.
Nebraska Methodist College is a four-year, private, nonprofit nursing and healthcare college that began in 1891. They are affiliated with one of the larges healthcare systems in Nebraska, he Nebraska Methodist Health System. NMC offers certificate, undergraduate, and graduate programs to a student population of over 1,000 every year. The university is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission
Walden University – Minneapolis, Minnesota
Walden University recently announced a new type of online MBA program to add to their already established online MBA offering. This new MBA is a competency-based program, as opposed to a course-based program. It is offered through Tempo Learning and allows for a more flexible program. This self-paced MBA has a specialization in Project Management and takes students through the curriculum by measuring mastery of skills, abilities, and knowledge in a particular area of study. Topics covered within the program include: Innovation for Growth, Leadership and Management, Systems and Performance, Strategic and Financial Management, Project Management, and Professional Skills.
Walden University is a four-year, private, for-profit university that was founded in 1970. Walden provides a broad range of bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs to more than 47,800 students every year. The university is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
University of the People – Pasadena, California
The University of the People is now offering an online Master of Business Administration. This 36-credit hour general MBA offers students to take courses on a part-time or full-time basis, and at a minimal cost. MBA students are only required to pay a small application fee and an administrative fee for each test taken, adding up to about $2,400 for the whole degree. The curriculum consists of core courses, electives, and a management capstone.
The University of the People is a nonprofit, tuition-free online university that was founded in 2009 by educational entrepreneur Shai Reshef. They currently offer five programs, associates thru masters, in the areas of business administration and computer science. The university is nationally accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission.

Drake University – Des Moines, Iowa
Drake University's College of Business and Public Administration just launched a hybrid Master of Business Administration program. This 39-credit hour program is designed with working students in mind with half of the courses offered in an online format. The curriculum consists of core courses, specialization courses, and professional development seminars. Students can choose from one of the following ten specializations: Accounting, Enterprise Risk Management, Entrepreneurial Studies, Executive Development, Financial Resources, Health Care Management, Human Resources, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or Operations Management.
Drake University is a four-year, private, nonprofit university that was founded in 1881. They offer over 70 undergraduate majors and minors and 20 graduate degrees, through six colleges and schools, to over 5,000 students annually. University of California, Irvine – Irvine, California
The University of California, Irvine's AACSB-accredited Paul Merage School of Business just announced a new hybrid MBA starting this fall. This new program, the Fully Employed MBA (FEMBA) Flex, will be offered in a hybrid format and ideal for early-to mid-career professionals. The 21-course program consists of core courses, elective courses, and three off-site residentials. Students can tailor their studies by choosing a specialization out of one or more of the following topics: Finance, Marketing, Strategy, Operations and Decisions Technologies, Real Estate, Wealth Management, and Entrepreneurship.

California Lutheran University – Thousand Oaks, California
California Lutheran University's School of Management recently announced the launch of a new hybrid MBA for Experienced Professionals program, adding to their current online MBA offering. This program is specifically for students who have at least five to seven years of managerial or professional experience. Almost half of the 15 courses are offered online with the on-campus courses taught on the Thousand Oaks campus on the weekend. The program focuses on five themes: leading operations, managing processes, leading people, leading strategy, and professional and personal development.
